Forestry Mulching Clean Up

Most forestry mulching companies tend to over sell the finished product, BillyGoat mulching knows this firsthand as we have heard customers tell us that the last company they hired said “All the brush and trees would be gone”. This is not exactly true, yes the brush and trees will be cut down and mulched up but they are still there under the surface. Trees like red maple, poplar, and bradford pear will just grow right back and instead of one tree the root system will have multiple shoots per stump. This means that in a couple years you will have to contact another company that will most likely over promise and under deliver costing you more money over and over again.

BillyGoat Subsoil mulching can come in and subsoil mulch the area, grinding up all the left over mulch, new shoots and stumps grinding them up and burying all the material under the surface of the soil. The root systems are also mulched and buried then we will level the soil and settle it into a perfect seed bed. We can then seed the area with grass to help with erosion during heavy rain as well as maintain a vegetation barrier keeping trees and brush from going back as quickly if you do not plan to maintain the area.

Subsoil mulching is great for the soil as all the organic matter is deposited below the surface of the soil. This means that the material will compost much faster than if it was just sitting on the surface. This is due to the material maintaining a constant temperature, earth worms and other microbes, and maintaining moisture. The soil will then absorb the nutrients and make your plants or other vegetation grow much stronger and resilient.
